Mission-Critical Logistics Platforms

Infrastructure and platform ownership for logistics, freight payment, EDI, customer-facing systems, and operational workflows where downtime creates business impact.

Situation

Worldwide Logistics Solutions / Roberson Transportation supported logistics, financial, and operational systems, including John Deere Freight Pay and large-scale trading partner integration.

Risk

Freight payment and logistics platforms require reliability, secure data movement, integration discipline, and operational continuity across multiple systems and partners.

Action

Clint designed, procured, and implemented dedicated core infrastructure supporting logistics, financial, and operational systems. He served as principal architect for John Deere Freight Pay, an ASP.NET-based freight payment platform responsible for paying thousands of invoices totaling over $1.5M daily, with historical processing exceeding 1.5M invoices and $0.5B to date. He also led EDI integration with 400+ trading partners across EDI, flat-file, and paper/OCR process integration.

Outcome

The work supported high-volume freight payment, enterprise integration, logistics workflows, financial systems, and business continuity across acquisition-era operations.

Scope

Dedicated infrastructure, data center, ASP.NET, Microsoft SQL Server, AS/400, BizTalk foundations, EDI, flat-file processing, paper/OCR workflows, client/server applications, intranet/extranet systems, and logistics platforms.

Relevant where infrastructure decisions carry business consequences.

Operational platforms still depend on infrastructure that connects old systems, new systems, vendors, customers, and business workflows without breaking continuity.

Clint Anderson - Owns infrastructure where failure is visible, expensive, and hard to excuse.
